Walton - Japanese Delegates visit Walton Factory


Surprised and Impressed on Walton
 
The delegates of Japan have visited Walton Factory and expressed satisfaction over the technological development of Bangladesh. They are agreed to increase technical and technological support, Training for the engineers and also for the extension of business between Bangladesh and Japan. They are also interested in importing Walton products.
 
A Japanese business delegation with 43- members have visited Walton factory at Chandra, Kaliakoir in Gazipur on 28th February, 2012. They have visited different manufacturing plant including fridge, motorcycle, and air-conditioner of Walton. The delegation team was headed by Tomiyasu Nakamura, Executive Vice President of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The delegation team included Takashi Suzuki, president of Japan External Trade Organization Bangladesh, top business leaders, industrialists and high government officials. The officers of Japan-Bangladesh chamber of commerce and industries -JBCC were also present there.
 
Chairman of R B Group S M Nurul Alam Rezvi, Managing Director of Walton Hi- Tech Industries Limited S M Ashraful Alam, Directors of RB group S M Mahabubul Alam Khalid and S M Rezaul Alam welcome the members of the delegation.
 
Tomiyasu Nakamura said, `We are surprised and very much impressed after visiting the different manufacturing plant of Walton. I think Bangladesh is in the right track of technological development.” He also imposed much concentration to the technical and technological support. He added that there is an opportunity in exporting Walton products to Japan if the quality is maintained properly with acceptable price rate’
