Country's leading brand Walton has become the title sponsor of Tri-Nation cricket series in Ireland next month.
The tri nation series involved Bangladesh, New Zealand and host Ireland.
Total Sports Marketing (TSM) got the ground right of the tri-nation series. Walton, the country's leading electronics, electrical, automobile and telecommunication products manufacturing and marketing company bought the title sponsorship from the TSM.
An official deal was signed between the two organizations on Monday in this regard.
After signing the deal, Moinul Haq Chowdhury, the chief of Total Sports Marketing said, "We congratulate Walton Group for sponsoring the upcoming tri-nation series in Ireland. Walton is playing an important role in the development of Bangladesh cricket. It is proved again that Walton provides support Bangladesh in home and abroad"
Uday Hakim, operative director (creative and publication) of Walton said, "Walton is the top sports sponsor in Bangladesh now. Cricket is a popular game here. It is our responsibility to take the country forward. Walton is an international brand, multinational company. We hope that the sponsor in tri-nation cricket series will brand Bangladesh in international arena."
Moinul Haq Chowdhury said that the matches will be telecasted in BTV, Maasranga Television and Gazi TV.
Walton Group's Assistant Director Milton Ahmed, Abdullah Al Mamun, Mahadi and Rafiul Islam and others attended the programme.
