Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Friday visited the factory of Walton High Tech Industries Ltd. at Chandra in Gazipur.
The minister arrived at the factory of leading local brand of electronics, automobiles and home appliances products, this noon.
Chairman of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd, S M Shamsul Alam, Director General SM Rezaul Alam and other high officials received the Minister after his arrival at the factory there.
The authorities concerned had taken massive preparations including decorating with banners, festoons to observe the Minister’s reception ceremony on the day.
The Minister visited various production units of Walton High Tech Industries Ltd. and observed the production process of Walton fridges, televisions, air conditioners and motorcycles.
After visiting the factory, he also exchanged his views with the concerned authorities, this afternoon.
Uday Hakim, Operative Director, Walton, in this regard said: “The visit of Industries Minister was very significant for us. Walton is gaining much popularity in global market as a Bangladeshi brand. The visit will surely encourage all concerned of the company.”
