Walton - PM visits Walton Pavilion at Dhaka Int`l Trade Fair
  

Walton, the largest electrical and electronic product producing company, adorns its pavilion colourfully at the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) as the month-long DITF is going to begin in the capital at 10am today (Saturday).All must visit Walton’s pavilion as it is decorated colourfully.The three-storied pavilion is made with stealth stair and modern lift system.Only Walton avails the facility in the fair. Eighty-five inches colour television is also special attraction in the Walton pavilion.Besides, the company’s all latest products are available in the pavilion with attracting price. Pavilion officials also announce discounts on the products.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the 19th DITF – the biggest trade event of the country.The Prime Minister will also visit Walton pavilion, Walton Executive Director and the company’s Policy, HRM and Administration Department chief SM Jahid Hasan said quoting the DITF’s secretariat information.On the occasion, the Walton pavilion is decorated colourfully with lighting, garden of different flowers, Mr Jahid Hasan added.According to Commerce Secretary Mahbub Ahmed, 12 countries from three continents are taking part in the DITF, while 471 stalls have been allotted.Ninety six pavilions, 49 mini pavilions, 316 stalls including 28 foreign stalls are taking part in the month-long trade fair.Around one lakh people is expected to rush the fair every day, the commerce secretary expressed the hope in a news conference on Friday.Traders from Thailand, India, China, Hong Kong, Iran, South Korea, USA, Turkey and Singapore are also decorating their stalls in the trade fair. The fair will be opened to all between 10am and 10pm every day.The entry fee is fixed at Tk 30 for adults and Tk 20 for children.The DITF will draw its curtain on February 10, sources said.
