Walton - Tigers historic victory against NZ in SAHARA WALTON ODI Series
Bangladesh made a rare morale-boosting history by winning the third and final ODI by 4 wickets against the touring New Zealand and thus gave the visitors another bitter taste of ‘Banglawash’, Bengali substitute of ‘Whitewash’, at Fatullha Sunday.
Winning the toss at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium Narayanganj, Bangladesh chose to bowl first and were too expensive letting the Black Caps to score 307/5, the highest total in the ground.
But the Tigers were too brilliant to surpass the target losing 6 wickets with 4 balls to spare.

This is the second highest run chase from the Tigers and the highest total in home ground. They chased 312/8 runs set by Zimbabwe and won the match by 4 wickets keeping 13 balls in hand Bulawayo on 16 August 2009.

This was Bangladesh seventh consecutive victory over New Zealand, the longest run against a higher-ranked side and 15th series win for the Tigers.
