A general knowledge competition in association with Walton, the country`s leading electrical, electronic and automobile manufacturing company, has been held in Tangail on 21.08.2015.The completion was held at Bindu Basini Government Boys` High School in the city while Boson, a science based local organisation organised the programme.
Scores of students of separate schools in the district have taken part with enthusiasm in the competition on the day.
The former Secretary and the Ambassador, Anwarul Alam Shahid, was present as the chief guest, in the prize-giving ceremony.
The headmaster of Bindu Basini Government Boys` High School, Abdul Karim, Deputy Commissioner of the district Md Mahbub Hossen, Additional Deputy Commissioner Munira Sultana, R.B Group`s Additional Director and renowned sports organizer FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Don and separate others high ups in the district were also present, among others, in the ceremony.
