Walton - Walton again becomes title sponsor of NCL

Walton, the country’s leading electronics, electrical, automobile and telecommunication products manufacturing and marketing company,  has again become the title sponsor of ‘National Cricket League (NCL)-2013-14’.


Sales and Marketing Committee Chairman of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Kazi Inam Ahmed, Acting Chief Executive (CEO) Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, Executive Director of Walton (Policy & HRM) HM Zahid Hasan and Operative Director (Creative and Publication) Uday Hakim signed an agreement on behalf of their respective sides at the media conference center of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in the capital on Wednesday.


It can be here mentioned that Walton also sponsored the last two events of NCL, the most popular domestic tournament.


The first two rounds of the 15th NCL tournament starting on 30 January have already been over, yet five more rounds to be completed.

Eight teams are competing in this year’s tournament. The teams are-Dhaka Metro and seven divisional teams (Dhaka, Chittagong, Barisal, Rangpur, Khulna, Rajshahi and Sylhet).


The third round of the tournament will start on February 13.


The matches will be held at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra, Cricket Garden in Rangpur, Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna and Fatullah outer stadium.

Each matches will be a 4-day game.
