Walton Mobile Smart Zone was opened at Bashundhara City in the capital on Wednesday.Actor Ilyas Kanchan formally opened it at Level-6 of Bashundhara City on Wednesday afternoon.
All the Walton brand smartphones will be found at this zone.
Walton`s Executive Director (HRM and Policy) S.M. Zahid Hasan, Executive Director and Head of PR & Media Humayun Kabir, Deputy Director F.M. Iqbal Bin Anwar (Don) and Proprietor of Prime Electronics Mohiuddin Jewel were present.
In his speech, Ilyas Kanchan said Walton is a company of Bangladesh. It has created employment opportunities by manufacturing different types of electrical, electronic and automobile products.
He said high quality Walton products are now exported to different countries of the world. As a result, Bangladesh has been receiving huge amount of foreign exchange every year.
Prime Electronics` proprietor Mohiuddin Jewel told risingbd.com that Walton`s handsets have generated huge enthusiasm in the country`s mobile phone market. Walton handsets, particularly the Primo series mobiles have been witnessing unprecedented responses from customers.
He also said customers are showing interest to buy Primo N1 and Primo NX models mobile phones.
